Delivery Policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026
1. Where we deliver
Bolley Brewing & Distillation Ltd currently delivers to eligible addresses in the United Kingdom. Some locations or address types may be excluded where the courier cannot lawfully or safely deliver alcohol. If we cannot fulfil your delivery, we will contact you and arrange an appropriate refund.
2. Charges and delivery times
Standard UK delivery is free. We aim to dispatch orders within 1–2 working days, with delivery typically taking 2–3 working days. These timings are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates. Orders received during weekends or bank holidays may be processed on the next working day. Stock shortages, severe weather, carrier disruptions or necessary checks may cause delays. We will contact you where we become aware of a significant delay. Your statutory delivery rights remain unaffected.
3. Alcohol is strictly for adults aged 18 and over
Alcohol may only be purchased by customers aged 18 or older and must not be purchased on behalf of anyone under 18. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 and legally entitled to buy alcoholic drinks. We may undertake appropriate age-verification checks before dispatch, and we may refuse or cancel an order where we cannot establish that an alcohol sale is lawful.
4. Age verification on delivery
Alcohol must only be handed over to an eligible adult aged 18 or over. The delivery driver or person handing over the parcel may require satisfactory evidence of age, including appropriate photo identification. Challenge 25 procedures may be applied. If sufficient evidence of age is not provided, the recipient appears to be underage, or delivery would be unlawful, alcohol must not be handed over. An adult signature, checkbox declaration or date of birth supplied online is not, by itself, proof of age. Deliveries should not be arranged for children or left where an under-18 person could take possession of alcohol.
5. Delivery attempts and failed age checks
Where delivery cannot be completed because nobody eligible is present, an age check fails or the address cannot be accessed, the courier may attempt redelivery or return the parcel under its procedures. Contact us with your order number if a delivery fails. We will explain the available options and any applicable costs, subject to your statutory rights. We will not release an order in circumstances that would breach alcohol-sales requirements.
6. Tracking and delivery confirmation
Where the courier provides a tracking reference, we may send it by email or make it available with your order information. Tracking information and delivery time estimates are supplied by the carrier and may change. Please check that your address and contact details are accurate when you order.
7. Damaged, missing, incorrect or delayed parcels
If goods arrive damaged, are missing or incorrect, or your order has not arrived within a reasonable period, please contact andrew@bolleyrum.co.uk promptly, including your order number and any useful photographs. We will investigate with the carrier and provide replacements, refunds or other remedies as required by applicable consumer law. Your legal rights are not reduced by any suggested notification timeframe.
8. Cancellation, returns and refunds
For change-of-mind cancellations and returns, refer to our separately labelled Refund Policy and Terms & Conditions. Your statutory cancellation and consumer rights remain unaffected. Any refund or return-delivery charge will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
